If sound wasn't an issue, what would have the highest CFM and rotation speed for a 120mm fan?

I remember when Thermaltake used to make CPU coolers such as like the Dragon Orb which provided 7200 RPMs. Are there any 120mm fans to that speed? The Dragon Orb III clocking in at an excruciatingly noisy 85 dBA.

I had one of those coolers on a 1.8GHz Northwood, drove me nuts for YEARS!

Kept the cpu cool until the bracket broke.

Modern 120mm fans can generate more airflow than the 80mm fan on the dragon orb with less rotational speed and thus less noise. Don't look at the rpm so much, but look at the CFM instead. The highest rating I could find for the dragon orb was around 50 CFM. 120mm fans go much higher.

The highest airflow fan I could find was: Mechatronics 120mm x 38mm High CFM fan
174 CFM @ 3800 RPM
57.8 dba

Edit:
Heh, of course I found one even faster: Delta GFB1212VHW 120x76mm Very High Speed
220.29 CFM with two fans running 3200 & 3550 RPM.
59.0 dba

It's actually two 120x38mm fans in a 120x76mm enclosure, and it's heavy (1.25 lb). They recommend not activating it unless it is securely mounted.

120 x 120 x 38 mm
real killer (for ears lol) high volume of air.
