nvidia 9800 series temperature

hello everyone

just want to ask regarding temperature
my 9800GT temperature showed 65C on nvidia system monitor and ambient temperature 58C
kinda hot in my term, is this normal ?
i am using stock cooler

anything below 90-100C at load is just fine, the cards can take it, but the lower the better

try increasing ur fan speed with rivatuner.
i hate cards running hotter than 45C on idle.....i no its normal....but it really bugs me. so i turned up ma 9600GT fan to 100% to get a temp of 40C. its nice and it not audible xcept at 1am when everi1 is sleeping. 9800GT i think uses the same cooler....not sure.i don think it will make a lot of sound at 100%. but i heard ppl getting 50C at 65% fan speed

Do you have a good intake fan on the front of the case? What is the room temp?

Those are great temperature considering your ambient temperature of 58º.
How can you stand that heat?

Most GFX cards are designed to run OVER 100 celcius. Can't be helped, due to the processing they do...

that being said, ~92 is my comfort level, much higher is too hot for my tastes...

i dont overclock this cards, everything on default set

as for intake fan i think good enough, since i using thermaltake tower case
and for my room temp is around 27C i guess, kinda hot nowdays so usually i use cooler and set to 25C

glad this card on good condition ^^
