Can anyone help me with deciding buying the power supply?

I live in USA.

I want the 850W power supply that support both 4 and 8 pins for 12V cpu power.

So, I went to Newegg.com to check out the power supplies that I want.

When I did that, I have seen the customers' review of those power supplies.

That made me scared of buying power supply.

Cause people had put cons of every single power supplies there are.

And all of those power supplies had at least 1 or 2 or more problems with power supplies.

Can anyone please help me and recommand me a good power supply?

Here's a good place to start:

Personal favourites here on Tom's tend to be PC Power and Cooling and Corsair.

A problem with any site like newegg is that if 1,000 people buy a power supply and 997 are happy with it, you get 10 good reviews and 3 bad ones. Always buy a quality power supply from a "badged" maker with a good warranty. In the event you get a bad one you return it, RMA it to manufacturer and it's warranted.

Almost every manufacturer has had some bad ps get out to the public. I use antec, as they have good customer support and are a great value. They've sent me parts free twice under warranty with just an email, as they already have me on record for 2 rebates.
