Almost mustered up enough courage to order the parts in attempt to build my first computer... Just wanted to see if there was any compatibility issues before I ordered, or if anything is an awful product. Wanted to check in again since you guys have been extremely helpful.
Already have a Wirless Card/Mouse/Keyboard/Speakers
The processor I can get for 280 at a local store retail, would wait for the drop, but I read that it's gonna be discontinued for a 9400(don't know a alot about it except its same speed with 6mb cache instead of 12 and will cost 11 bucks less then what I can get locally for the 9450). The ram supposedly from reading is compatible at 1066 with the motherboard(hoping they are correct). Not 100% about the case but it had decent reviews and drops the vid card 20bucks. Other than that I tried to review everthing best I could Still spent about 150 more then I wanted too, so I guess my puppies gonna have to live without toys and all the other crap I waste money on him for a month or 2.
Really want to pull the trigger and get the stuff ordered so I can do this but just wanted to check one last time before I did this. Any help would be amazing again. Thank you all for your time

While arduously reading reviews on some of the parts, I think I found a better monitor for cheaper with a slight downside of it being white and glossy but whatever. Hopefully everything else seems ok as I scour everything I can read.
Besides that I think that's everything... Hopefully I can get some reassurance from some of you guys before I order in a few hours Anyhoo thanks again for all the help.
Basically just games... Don't play high req. FPS like Crysis or COD or whatever. Prolly be playing games like WAR, D3, and Spore when they come out. Currently not really playing anything since I quit WoW. But not really into FPS games. Do want to get high settings with good fps on the games I do play though, but again it's not those insane FPS games.
I don't plan on OCing, I don't know how and probably don't want to mess with it. No intentions on utilizing Crossfire and I think the board I selected isn't even capable. The case I was kinda worried about, I never built a computer by hand so I don't know a ton about sizes of things, the airflow, etc.
Chose the one monitor cuz it's cheap and I'm trying to stay below 1300(well I'm at 1450 but not going higher than that).
The PSU, I'm not sure if 750w is overkill if I'm not OCing or runnin' 2 GPU's... If I can get by with like 500-550 I could save alot more money. I just don't want to have power being an issue.

Both the card you have and the one I linked have the same specs.
Other than that your build look great as long as you don't plan to use crossfire because your MB does not support it.
Ya not planning on 2 cards...
Just hope I can put this thing together... From what I've read and talking to someone who has put his together, I think I can do it. Yet I know there will more then likely be something that won't work and I won't know why

Make sure you get the retention bracket thats sold separately for like $6.
Weird I think that was the one I originally had, someone recommened the Artic. And I just read that with the motherboard i'm planning on buying that the artic is a snug fit with conflicting reports of it touching the NB or another saying it almost touches. Stupid MB is cheap and had decent reviews.
Would this one fit without that problem? Again never built a computer, so I don't even really understand it touching the NB means besides what it means literally. Also these brackets I don't understand what they really do. Or this thermal compound stuff, what you do with it, or do you need it, or does it come with it. Basically don't know jack about it.
Edit... Actually just found out it will fit. Nice, thanks alot for the info. Still little confused on the brackets though

Why are you getting the q9450? That is kind of overkill for just some RTS games imo. You might consider a q6600 to save the cash. Also get some Thermal Paste for your CPU (Arctic Silver) and go ahead and get an OEM chip since you aren't using Intels Stock fan or paste:
Also - and I am maybe alone on this one - but 640 gigs is an insane amount of space. You could drop the size of your hard drive down. There are some thoughts that the 640's are faster than the 500's because of the 320 gig platters - but I don't think it's that noticeable.
