Noctua NH-U12P and q9450

guys,

i am going to be running a quad core q9450 and OCing it up to around 3ghz
this cooler has great reviews, I was going to go for a zalman, but this has stolen my attention.

anyone with experience with this brand/model, and will it mound on the processor i am proposing. Also running a Gigabyte Ga48x board if that makes a difference.

any alternatives are welcome aswell
