Is my mobo dead or is it my Ram ???

So After reparrition my new build I destoryed or fried something so..being pissed I mailed it out to asus for repair they mail it back to me ...assuming they fixed it or something or swaped it for a new board...assemble the computer and have the same problems

Heres the problem
When Starting Computer:
Monitor Doesnt Response, Laser Mouse Doesnt Light up, Keyboard buttons dont light up...almost like the back of the mobo is dead or something... is it possible ram could do this dam ram???...also the cpu fan spins and all other fans spin fine
or maybe it was the harddrive that I reparrition ... any ideas or suggestions?? I tried running it to bios without the sata harddrive connected and stiill got the same problerm

Memory is gskill 1gb memmorys

spec: wolfdale 3.0ghz processor duo 2 core
ati radeon 4850Hd video card
2 x1gb memory stick gskill
asus p5e mobo


i dont wanna buy new mobo again

usually if its a memory issue, the computer will start to continuously beep once you try to turn it on.
It sounds like a mobo issue, or even a cable. Its hard to tell
