Hi, with the i7 coming out soon im guessing that the current intel cpus will get a price cut. i was looking at getting a Q9550(right now $320 @newegg, hopefully around $250 after i7 launch) but i cant decide on the motherboard. i just need a pcie slot for my sound card and one for my video card i was looking at the EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1.
im wondering if this is a decent mobo. its only $180 after rebate, and i could afford that.
my old computer died, long story, but i already have a zalman 110mm Lga 775 cpu fan, a corsair 750w psu, a 320g hdd, a thermaltake armur case, and im looking to buy a 4870 1GB, so all that is left is the cpu, mobo and ram.
if anyone has any opinions on this build, or other options for the mobo please post. thanks
UPDATE--i was looking for ram when i saw this for $45 after rebate. but i cannot find a recomended mobo memory voltage on newegg or evga.com. do you think this ram would be ok??
