m500 to serial, VT100?

One more question.

Is there any way to hook the m500 to a serial port (not using a
cradle)? I would love to be able to connect the m500 to phone switches
for repair and maintenance -- this would require a good VT100 terminal
emulation program also.

Thanks for any advice.

Well, I think you'd need a serial cable to connect to the m500 universal
connector. Then you could use something like 'ptelnet' - I forget the URL
but a google search will probably find it for you.

Thanks. Are these serial cables available most anywhere?

I'll check on eBay.
