Hi, i have the following problem and i dont know if there is even a solution for it.
My girlfriends family has a lake house and its terrain is about 200*200 yds.
In the terrain there are 6 small houses and they want to make a media network between them, mostly with dvds.
The idea is to rip all theair dvds into a server and be able to play them from any of the 6 houses.
Is this possible? I dont know much about wireless technology so i dont know if current routers can stream dvds.
Im attaching a simple plot of the house layout, the numbers in each house represent how many floors the house has.
I had in mind using a powerfull server in the house in the middle and some nettops in every other house and maybe a signal repeater in the roof of the house on the left.
