Okay, so I'm looking into building a new computer for gaming but it's my first time actually building one so I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

I'd drop the P5N-E for an board based on Intel's new P43/P45 chipsets, since 650i SLI is an old chipset and you have no need for SLI support anyway, since you are buying an ATI video card.

 

The power supply is also overkill, a Corsair 450VX would be perfectly good choice and a 550VX would leave large headroom for upgrades.

 

Other then that, looks like a great build.

I disagree on the PSU, always buy for the next build as well. Your 650 is a good choice, although I would likely get a 750.

P5Q pro is a good P45 board, and I think Gigabytes offerings in P45 are OK.

If you go the P45 route consider something other than OCZ... they don't seem to be real compatible yet. Crucial, Corsair, G. Skill are having better luck.
