P5B-Deluxe

Does anybody know if the P5B-Deluxe will accept a e8400 Wolfdale processor? Perhaps there is a BIOS update or something I could try. Any information would be appreciated.

If that E8400 has the newer E0 stepping, you'll need to get the unofficial 1237 BIOS to avoid some well-documented memory issues. I've been running the 1237 BIOS and can verify that it is bug free.

Great. I am not sure if it is the newer version or not. How do I find out that information?

Ok. Well it is not the E0 version so I should be okay with the other BIOS update. I have the older locked multiplier only capable of 9x. I am pretty sure that is the non E0 version.
