I want to buy a 9800GX2, yet I am concerned if it will not work to it's fullest with my Core 2 Duo E6750 and 600w PSU. I read the 9800GX2 minimum is 600w which worries me.

Will it work fine?

Depends on the power supply. If you have 600 watts on a single rail then yes. If it is a cheapy then maybe not.

You are probably fine though. That 600 watts figure is a vast overestimate that nvidia gives so people won't complain when they can't get power to their cards. I think the system you specified would only actually use about 300/350 watts at peak load. No charts on hand to back me up though.
