Driver hitachi sata for windows 7

my windows 7 can't read my hitachi external hd..
Any solution please?

    Is it not showing up as an accessible drive at all?

    When plugging in the USB cable, does Windows recognize you just plugged it in?

    Right click Computer in the Start menu.
    Select Manage.
    Select Disk Management on the left.

    Does your external HDD appear in that list?
