Hello, I purchased a Gateway GT5676 (specs: http://shopper.cnet.com/desktops/gateway-gt5676-phenom-...) and I realized once I opened the box that it has an HDMI connection, but NO DVI connection. I would have liked to have an DVI connection instead, in order to hook it up to my 22 inch widescreen monitor (1680 * 1050), which does not have an HDMI input. Is there a way to add a DVI connection on the desktop? Is this connection only available on a good graphics card, which means I would have to replace it? If so, would I need to upgrade the power supply as well? This computer only comes with 300 W power supply, which is not great.

(The reason I bought this particular computer, for those who are wondering, is that I wanted to get an upgrade to my Pent. 4. I found the GT5676 at BestBuy for $449.99, on clearance. Advertised on their website is $679.99, so check out the store.

Thanks for any help.

Just buy a converter cable

As mentioned on the web site you linked, if you're looking to game on this system, I would strongly recommend getting a better, discreet graphics card and a better power supply.

Theres a ton of DVI->HDMI connectors out there fro around $20 or so, so you can do that if you want.
