What is your views on these two boards:

ASUS P5Q Deluxe
EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI 775 A1 Version

I've heard about some issues with the Asus board?

Also - where can I find the best value/money graphics card?

P45 boards are rock solid. You really cant go wrong with it, at all. Be it ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte. They are all good.

 

As far as the Nvidia chipsets go....its really a coin toss. And I really mean that. You have about a 50% chance of getting a board that actually works, in terms of memory issues and massive voltage issues with overclocking.

 

Check newegg.com for prices and parts. They have the largest selection of everything.

The p45's are generally more reliable. As spathotan said, it's like a 50/50 chance you're going to get a good nvidia board.

The best price/performance cards are probably the 4850 on the ATI side, or the 9800gtx on the nvidia side.
