Below is a new system spec, just wanted any advice or comments that could help. I'm possibly gonna change the CPU now that the prices will change anytime.

One thing I see is the raptop, unless they've released a new version since I prowled the web a few months ago then a fast seagate drive will almost match it in performance.

I'd check the charts just to make sure on it before you shell out a ton for a raptor.

May be able to get a raid 5 going with 3 500 GB drives which could outperform and allow for same storage and fault tolerance.

Just a crazy thought, I personally haven't bothered with RAID yet but I've been wanting to.

Almost all mobo's these days support it with SATA.
