I have a video card with DVI-I out, and i was wondering if i would be able to connect it to my tv which has a DVI-D port?
The tv is a rear projection hdtv.
Also what cable would I need to use?

Any help appreciated.

Yes, it will work. You will need to use a DVI-D cable to connect the two systems (as your TV does not have connectors for the analog pins on the DVI-I connector).

Thanks.
Does it matter if the cable is single link or dual link?
Is there a difference?

Yes, there is a difference (based on maximum display resolution). If your TV is capable of accepting a dual link DVI-D connector I'd recommend going ahead and getting one (not going to hurt).
