XP defrag raid 0 slow

Windows XP Defrag, Asus P6T on board Raid. 2 1T drives Raid 0 striped 36% full. I know the video files are large but should it take days to defrag? Seems to go fast (watching status bar) at first then slows to almost a full stop.

Well, the Windows defrag is certainly slow, but shouldn't take days to defrag a 36% filled up drive. Whether it's RAID shouldn't matter all that much since the defragger still sees it as a single logical volume.
Anyway the only alternative is to try another defragger that works well with RAID. The commercial utilities have free trial versions that you can download and use for a while, especially the automatic background defragmenters would be a good choice that saves time.
