i just bought a new amd mobo and im kind of a newb to mobos so the only i really considered was the number of pci slots. i started doing a bit of research and it turns out that it comes with the sb600 southbridge, which is a couple years old, and runs on a 110 nm fab process. the northbridge is a 790fx, which is great, but the southbridge seems like a piece of crap. i was wondering if this is going to significantly affect my performance, overclocking potential, and upgradability to the phenom. and also i would like to know more in general just how much better the sb750 is than the sb600.
