I just got my new build working (all new parts). I've got 2 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3s. In BIOS, both were registered and working correctly. I installed Windows 7. Everything was working great, but then I went to copy my old files from an external drive and noticed that the second drive doesn't appear in My Computer (or whatever it's replacement is). Windows says that both drives are functioning correctly. I went into Computer Management, and no second drive there either.
Can someone help me out? I think it's all installed correct, due to BIOS registering it and Windows saying its there. I don't know if there's a trick to getting it to show up. I though I might have to format it, but I didn't see an option in BIOS, and obviously I can't do that if it's not shown in Windows. Does this mean my drive might be bad?
Mobo: Asus M4A79XTD EVO
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB (left in BIOS defaults)
OS: Windows 7
