I hate to ask but... I need opinions

I just making a decision on a new budget system but I need some input. Newegg is not an option since I am in Canada but I found a pretty good deal on a system from Tiger Direct. Could you tell me what you think. I have always built the 2 year system, I use it for a year and a half then complain about it being to slow for 6 months and then buy a new one.

I Would Recommend the Getting The Antec Twelve Hundred The Cheapest One I have Found Is @ www.microtechcomputersystems.com. And as far as Video Cards The 8800Gts 512 & 9800GTX are imho The best as far as Price/performance Ratio

It sounds like you are already well aware that an 8500GT is not a gamer card. What games do you want to play, and at what resolution? What is your budget for this system?

To the OP:

According to tiger direct, it says your barebones kit comes with a 8500gt, so you dont need to add any video.

I am assuming you just need a computer for basic internet/word processing? If your looking for a gaming pc, your headed the wrong direction.

I have had a really rotten experience with Tiger Direct selling me a CPU that was "IN STOCK" and then saying it'd be ~14 days to ship the IN STOCK part. Even after placing the order the item was still listed IN STOCK so I'm convinced that was just some plain old lying on their part. Never, EVER again.

Up until yesterday I'd had nothing but good experiences with NewEgg... however, I would still recommend them over TigerDirect ANY day of the week.

^Yes I have had some bad experiences with tiger direct too, but the OP said that he cant order from newegg since he lives in Canada. Thats too bad
