Hey everyone,

just trying to get some info about compatibility between my rather not one of the latest state-of-the art motherboards: ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe and Sapphire Radeon Toxic HD 4850. The motherb has got PCI Express x16 slot but it's not PCI-Express 2.0...

So if there's anyone who could give me an info on that one it'd be most highly appreciated!

Thanks

Yes it will work, It will work fine. A 2.0 card can work in a 1.1 slot and you can use a 1.1 card in a 2.0 slot.

You will not loose any performance. The only way you will loose some IF the slot is a 8X 1.1 or 4X.
