X4 955 3.8 ghz at 1.5 volt??

Yeah Phenom IIs are o.k at that voltage. Don't know what the max safe voltage is for the Phenom Ii but you can find out if you google it.

it was running stable but as soon as i ran prime 95 after about 1 min it crashed   whats the best settings to hit 3.8 ghz guys??

why is mine running at 60 degrees on idle, I have a zalman 9000 fan on this cpu at stock voltage and stock speeds

re-install your heatsink, you probably messed that up, though start your own thread next time don't hijack someone else's

jo_795 can't really help you though, i have a Phenom II X4 810 and i only go to 3.2GHz , it's enough for games if need be (though stock is plenty as well)

its fine umm yea 60 is too high... my stock fan had mine running at 42-45 idle but i used artic silver 5 compound really good stuff.. i reseated my hs like aobut 2-3 times and now its idleing around 35-38 so try that! and i have 2 fans on each side of hs one is suckin air out to the exhuast fan on the back and the front one is suckin air in into the hs to cool it try stuff like that ! and someone please help me to get 3.8 ghz ??
