Ok, so im preparing for my christmas build.
I saw a really good mobo, but they stopped selling them a little while ago, so I need to find a new one.
I need it to be an atx, and fit:
an HD 4850 or 9800 gtx+
intel core 2.0 duo
im no good at mobos, but I think these should be included....
im also getting one or 2 hard drives
a dvd burner
can someone find me one, prefferably on newegg?
Thanks
edit: forgot to add, the case im getting with it has like 4 fans and a 2 pin led light. Should I get a mobo with some 2pins, or just mod it( i dont know how)
hmmm.
money wise, im already over budget, but then again, its not linke im paying for this....
so bout 150ish 200 ish
not much higher, but lower if the quality is good
Take a good look at those LED connectors. Notice how they will fit into a 4 pin connector. You should be able to plug them in just fine, just follow the directions.

I am really bad at mobos (and this is my first build)
I don't know if all atx boards are the same n stuff.
Does the mobo fit into the case and fill up the audio and usb socket thingys?
oh, and another thing.
One guy seems to love asus, and the other hates it. What are your opinions?
on another note, I checked the mobo and someone said that it was a micro atx, not full.
Is that a problem?
anyone know any relatively cheap, good, and recent mobos?
The one mentioned above didn't have many things like firewire

Yeah, really need some more info to help.
As far as brands go, I've had problems with ASUS maily because I found that if something goes wrong there customer service is horrible. I have a board I have been trying to rma for a year and I have gotten nowhere, they refuse to respond to me. Thats my two cents.
I like gigabyte, msi, biostar, dfi. I've even had good luck with Asrock.
Foxconn is an up and comer that has been impressive lately.
