Hi I have an 8800gts g92 and I hooked it up to my Olevia 227v but I can increase my resolution up any higher from my CRTs max res of 1024x768, in display settings thats the highest it will go. I tried going to device manager and scanning for new hardware, thinking it might make it available, but it didnt, any ideas?

Heya,

The native resolution of your TV is 1366 x 768 for the Olevia 227v. This is a non-standard resolution. Most standard resolutions are 4:3 or 16:10 ratios. 1366x768 is completely not standard. So naturally, your card is going to default to something that it knows as a standard ratio. If you want to go higher than the resolution it's defaulting to, you will have to manually add a resolution to it's options (you can google this method).
