ATI 4850+4830 crossfire

ive got 2 ati cards and the 4830 seems to be choking itself to death .

the temperature doesn't rise as ive tested while playing and in desktop.

i have this cooler in mind but its pretty LARGE .

it needs 3 pci slots in total and it might push against my sound card. Onboard sound still works great and its high quality so there's no problem there taking out the sound card.

there's enough space in front the card (where the fan is mounted on) , not behind it . because its limited by the 4850.

any other suggestions are welcome !!

remember its for a 4830 graphics card in crossfire mode .....

the 4830 is asus . and 4850 is msi


now theres another cooler i have in mind , im really stuck in the mud with this

i wanted to get a 4850 from asus but with the 4830 fan being so dodge (its the second card in a week that made noise, now on my third)

its a hard choice haha , theres no space restriction . i just need to know if anyone has fitted a 4830 ready cooler

I didn't know you could xfire two different cards. maybe thats the problem.

yes you can crossfire two diffrent cards , its nvidia where u must have the exact same model to run multiple cards
