this way - Disk management -storage-sellect your HDD for partition 1 or more

hey my harddisk is 40gig can you help about staff partition my harddisk

if u have 1 HDD in system not easy, you will have to use a 3rd Party software such as Partition Magic to split the C drive. This will probably cause your recovery not to work if you need it. did u have Recovery CD? I wouldn't attempt it if you don't have a way to re-install the O/S.
- And reinstall need key register ,driver,software,
- Backup important data

Why are you trying to partition a 40 gig drive? Leave it as is, it's too small to be effictive in any smaller chunks and you won't have any risks of loosing data.

well idont about that because ive seen some 40 gig hdd partition well if is the and if is good for my hdd ill follow your advice that will be thank buddy
