A few questions about a new build.

Im kinda stuck between a e7200 and a e8400. I know that difference is the FSB and the L2 cache and obviously clock speeds. So my questions is. . . Is it that big of a difference. I would use this build to play games and as a big music library would i notice a difference in the two. I will overclock the 7200.

My next question is operating system. Since this is for gaming and general stuff should i go with vista or xp. I would have 4gigs of ram so i guess it would have to be a 64bit of either one right?

Go with e8400 if you can afford it. At stock, it's 3Ghz. Plenty for ANY games. Overclocked, it's CRAZY fast.

If u can afford the E8400 then go for it,but if its hard for u to go for it then go for E7200 and OC it,its a solid OCer(so is E8400).
