I need to update the bios in my pc so that i can boot from usb, because in bios that currently isnt a boot option... if someone could help me it would be great! Thanks

When you say in bios there is no boot option do you mean there is no option to boot from USB or there is no option to change the boot order? Some motherboards do not support booting from USB.

Go to the page linked, click bios driver. There are directions on the page. Alternatively, go to the HP page, find the Software and Download Page, input model #, select OS, download update (gets you to the page linked above).

No guarantee that you will be able to boot to USB though. You may want to check the BIOS revisions to see if there is even a difference as it is an old update (circa 2005). In fact I doubt it does anything based on the description.

Ive already downloaded and installed that bios update, all it said they fixed was sometimes the windows logo would freeze or was pixealated booting up.

Oh ya, and i can find the boot options no problem. just there isnt an option to boot from usb
