Im new to building computers and need help. Will these parts work together well?

CPU: intel q6700
Motherboard: xfx nforce 790i ultra with 2 ocz pc3-16000 modules
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 750GB
Power supply:1000 watt ultra x3
Video card: two XFX GeForce 9600 GT extreme edition.
ZEROtherm / Butterfly BTF90 cpu cooler
Vantec 3.5" Aluminum Hard Drive Cooler
Sony DRU190A 20X DVD Rewritable Drive
Also I was going to use windows vista and i need help finding a really good sound card mostly for games.

whats your budget?
you forgot ram
i would take crossfire on a x48 mobo
and 4850 over your 9600gt
and q6600/q9450 over your q6700
and a sunbeam core contact freezer for my heatsink
