Hi guys,

im running a AMD 5200+ dual core (2.7GHZ stock)

with the auto over clock profile at highest (%7) sets cpu to 2.89 GHZ
when i put on manual overclock, any more than 216 MHZ (2.94GHZ)on cpu frequency
makes my computer shut down, after "save and restart" from bios,

im guessing its because its too much ? or too hot?

anyway at 216 MHZ (2.94GHZ) it doesnt shutdown, and runs games fine etc (stable?)

so will running an aftermarket cooling sink allow me to push my cpu more?

thanks

it won't get much further, athlon's don't OC very well.
