Kinda at a crossroad here... Never done this before.

But I'm putting the CPU in the socket right now(Q9450) and i'm dropping it how it should be and its aligned and everything but when I turn the pressure lever to lock it into place it seems like i'm using alot of force. Which is kinda freakin' me out, so I won't actually lock it til I know if I'm supposed to turn the lever that hard to hold the CPU in it's socket? Read the 2 guides and none of them say how hard the lever turning is, I'm thinking this is a little too much pressure then I should be having to use to get it to stay shut.

With the cpu, it has little indentations in it. make sure those line up with the indentations with the cpu slot, and you will be good.

and yeah it does take abit of pressure to lock it into place. =)
