3DMark06 Score

Does anyone have an idea of what my 3DMark06 score should be? I haven't run it yet but I am going to do it tonight I figure it should be over 15,000 or higher am I correct? Can anyone with a similar system tell me what they're getting for scores?

Who knows what its going to be! Every setup is different, depends on background processes and a whole bunch of other stuff.

If it's low I was going to be posting this thread either way lol. So you think it should be around 16,000? That sounds about right to me. Btw I asked anyone with similar systems what they were getting, that was my main questions, for comparison.

iv got a q6600 at 3.6 and an 8800gts 512, 4gb corsair dominatior 1066 and i get 16508 easyly. but like they say it depends on your system and how its runing at the time

if i oc to 3.8 i can break 17000 but temps get to hot. i also oc3d the gpu tho

I am running XP with 0 applications running in the background with the harddrive completely defragged as always.

Q6600 @ 3.6ghz, 9800GTX+ stock then I will try overclocking it, 4GB PC8500 ram... shouldn't I hit like 15,000 atleast?

I'm hitting around 12500 with my setup, you have a faster GPU, I'm guessing around 15000-16000

Here's something for reference. Same q6600@3.6ghz, but with 8800gts instead of 9800gtx+.

My vote is 15000 - 16000+(not that it means much ) since a Q6600 @ 3.6 gives a nice boost.

Okay, the first time I ran it with the 9800GTX+ stock I scored 16448 !

The second time I ran it I overclocked my videocard to optimal frequencies and score 17551.

I don't have any links to show you because I'm at work atm and I ran it from home. I'll see if I can get them for ya tonight, but otherwise I'm very pleased with these scores.

yah i missed the part where it was mention q6600 @ 3.6, that makes a huge difference.

Yeah I know it does, but it still owns. The videocard also makes a huge difference also though. Either way, pretty high scores if you ask me.

Overclocking makes a big difference in 3dmark. My E8400 @ 4ghz and my overclocked SLIed 8800GT's got 18,424.

Depending on the Overclocks I get with my Q9450 and 8800 Ultra im hoping to break 20k but im not sure if I can pull it off with only the 1 Ultra. Cpu speed makes more difference than the Gpu in 3dmark or so it seems, overclocking my cards yielded me very little in my score.

Even with a dual, it'll still end up far higher than the 12500 you predicted.

lol if I can hit 18000 i'm good, i'm sure i'll get that with a few more tweaks and new Nvidia drivers.
