Hi, im willing to build a new cheap gaming machine but i don't know which is the best motherboard that support Phenom and Athlon 64 X2..

I wont CF or SLI, i want something cheap but reliable and fast, something below $100

Im thinking in something like this
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 or Phenom(if i can find some nice combo discount)
RAM: 2GB DDR2
VGA: Single 4830 or 9800GT

Should i go with amd 770, 780g or there's any nice chipset from nvidia?

Thanks in advance

For under $100 this would be your best board:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128341

Next would be this:

If you then want to keep the price down grab an ATi card that will work with the onboard for Hybrid Crossfire, or use any other PCIe card on its own.

What's your budget? (I.e. How cheap is cheap?)

There's a ton of choices, but the AMD 780G chipset is a pretty solid choice (relatively cheap), I don't think any Nvidia Chipsets are as good in the sub-$100 range.

Word of advice. If you get a Phenom, some of the older 780G chipsets don't support the 125W, or requires a BIOS update. You'll have to check beforehand.

Well all of the 780G Gigabyte boards support both the 125 and 140 watt Phenoms right out of the box.

I might be buying the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128090 with the OCZ Psu combo :D

Does anyone knows if the hd4830 is Hybrid Crossfire compatible?

Cheap like
$200 for CPU and Motherboard
$60 for RAM
~$120 Video card
$50-60 PSU
