Hello. A few months ago I built a new PC and had trouble with the temperature. Today I checked my Asus temperature log. Here is a small part of it;

[05/13/2008 at 11:36 pm] CPU Temperature become normal, 64 degrees centigrade
[05/13/2008 at 11:49 pm] CPU Temperature Abnormal, 65 degrees centigrade

[05/13/2008 at 11:49 pm] CPU Temperature Abnormal, 66 degrees centigrade
[05/13/2008 at 11:49 pm] CPU Temperature become normal, 53 degrees centigrade
[05/14/2008 at 09:04 pm] SB Temperature Abnormal, 45 degrees centigrade

I only have one 120MM exhaust fan but my case does not have much more room for more fans. My system specs are

Q9450
2GB RAM 800mhz
160 GB SATA HDD
Asus Maximus Formula
8800 GTS EVGA

I have quite a few different CPU monitoring software and have had enough as they all disagree with each other.

I'm gonna say it's probably you don't have a good enough cooler,or the fact I wouldn't trust an X38 for a motherboard(That is what you have,right? Or is it a P45?)

Its the Intel X38. I have been talking about getting the Antec 1200 case which I will in the future. I'm just saving my money for something else right now. Its a major problem though because my South Bridge is running at 50C (Going by Asus Software) and I can't play games.
