I have a Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 mainboard that just failed and I am looking to replace it with the same. I found out, though, that the K8NSC has no game port. Is that something that I can change later (without changing the entire motherboard) - or am I stuck? I do some gaming, not real heavy, but would like the option of having a game port.
Game ports are obsolete, so don't worry about it. Everything uses USB now. Your MB is obsolete as well -- socket 939 MBs haven't been made in years, so if you can't find a used one on ebay, you'll have to upgrade your system to a nice fast modern Intel multicore CPU, Intel chipset MB, and DDR2 RAM. I think you'll be pleased at how much better the new setup performs.

Have a look on EBAY for 939 motherboard, I paid £30 for a new ex-HP stock, as for the 'Game Port' issue I solved this by installing a cheap [£4] PCI Audio card with 'game port'.
