Hey folks. you probably would ask"why would you?" but wonder how much upgrade within reason I can do for an hp pavillion 614n. friend just gave it to me and already bought a gig mem card. obviosly its just ok for surfing and basic, but until i can build the real deal I would like to experiment and see what can be done, processor, hard drive etc. thanks jamie

Thanks for responding to my request. basically I have this old hp pavillion a614n and what to upgrade as much as possible until I can afford to build a fast gamer pc way down the road. I have basic skills and just wonder what I can do with is thing one piece at a time or if I am screwed with existing mother board, jamie

upgrade...? your pc ...
u can upgrade PSU , memory RAM 1Gb or more & VGA (AGP)
but more better for New game need min dual core u have 1 core.. not worth,
if you have Old Game (XP & 98) no problem !
