Would I need an SLI for the FX4710? Mostly play Wow and modern games? Specs:

Intel® Core™2 Quad processor Q9300; 6GB DDR2 memory; DL DVD±RW/CD-RW drive; Labelflash technology; 640GB hard drive; Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1

So what do you think?

For WoW? No.

For modern games? Depends on what resolution you will be running them at.

In all likelihood, a solid single card setup will probably meet your needs.

If you are referring to the Gateway FX4710 then you only have one pci-x slot and SLI is not an option.

Oh sorry I was thinking of buying this from bestbuy because its a pretty affordable gaming desktop except it doesnt come with any wireless

Im not sure on the size of the monior I want to get but a 1024 by 768 sounds fine. Thanks for you answers so far

if u got a lcd, surely, it will be 1680*1050 or higher (22'' and more) 1024*768 is a lil bit low, your graphic card will not be asked alot, more your cpu , in FX4710 it use 9800GT .. really enought for your need and modern game .. as long as you dont play on a 24'' or more at really high resolution
