Hey guys, I have a quick question. I'm about to put the final release version of windows 7 64 bit on my system and I am wondering if when I do a fresh install like this will my overclock information in my Bios be saved? All I am concerned about is keeping my CPU overclock. If i am correct, the information on my mobo will be saved.

thanks

Windows has almost nothing to do with the BIOS, so yes, your CPU will still be overclocked.

If you used a software program to do the overclock maybe not. If you did it in the BIOS then you'll be fine. My suggestion if installing a new OS IF you were really pushing the overclock, back the OC's down and just redo it after it's all running smooth after the install. If a mild overclock, I'd not worry about it.
