Gainward, if I am not mistaken is Palit. They are a french company that has not had much presence in the American Market. They are known for producing quality product. Golden Sample cards are fairly highly regarded. I'd say you can't go wrong with one..
All those brands are the same in term of hardware. Identical gpus on identical reference boards. Those distributers buy gpus from ATI and rebrand them. It's a matter of putting in different stickers.
To dagger.. Re-Branding is not just a case of swapping stickers, atleast in most cases. Modifications can vary from cooling to upgraded Ram. May seem like small changes to you but can make a huge difference to overall performance. Compare the Toxic 4850 to the stock 4850 specs. and you will see much improvement, albeit from changing only the cooler. Gainward are a top quality product who specialise in not only over-clocking but actually upgrading the architecture of the card, they're Golden Samples especially are far more than a sticker swap.

Don't forget the use of solid state capacitors on the cards, I compared an ASUS HD 4850 and a Sapphire HD 4850 side by side and I noticed that Sapphire was a lot more generous on the use of solid state.
