Hi,
I have DSL and a desk top. I bought a netgear router and got my HP Compac notebook connected to the internet. My room mate bought the same notebook I did. Can a second notebook work on my router, or do I have to get a second router? How do I connect the second notebook to my existing router?

A router will allow several computers to share one internet connection.
Is your router wireless? If so, just locate and connect with the laptop.
If you secured the router wireless with WPA/WEP then you need enter the key in order to connect the laptop.
