WEP is part of the security features in a wireless router or access point.
You "turn on" WEP security in that device.
If you attempt to connect to a WEP secured access point or router, Windows will ask you to input the WEP security key.

You have to sign into your router,to setup your wep protection.also set up a password to the router itself,that way your network will be protected!
