IM looking into building my first gaming computer. My friend who has built a couple already has told me he would help me put it together after i order the parts. I have a maximum budget of $3000 monitor is needed... Any advice??
At some point you get really diminishing returns on your investment... and NO ONE is going to say that a ultra-high-end PC is a good investment for a gamer. $2000 will buy you an obscenely nice rig and just set aside the $1000 for your next rig, a mid-life upgrade or just a boat load of games. The money you spend going from $2000 to $3000 won't have a very dramatic impact on performance... especially when compared to the jump in performance going from $1000 to $2000. If money is absolutely no object, sure... why not? But if you're like the rest of us, $3000 is probably overkill.
thanks for that lol i mean 3000 is all i got and i wasnt sure how much it costs to build a new comp- im a total noob when it comes to that but if someone could point me in the right direction that would be wonderful
