Hi all, My Aunt's computer has crashed and it wont boot Windows, It will just go to the BIOS.

If I can connect her hard drive to an older computer can I just copy all of the files onto the main hard drive without the OS's interfering with each other?

Thanks

While you can connect it as a second drive to get the files in most cases, if the files are in NTFS file system "older computer" needs to be able to read the files .
If the older computer is running Win 98 it won't be able to read NTFS files, XP or later will be OK.
