Hi all, first time poster here.

I am having difficulty on deciding which motherboard to acually buy. In the past I have had MSI board which was a little troublesome mainly due to it being a P4 HT chip which was the worth chip I have ever had. Also I currently got a Gigabyte board and used them another time, they seem best of the boards I have had except this last one which wont except a 4th stick of memory no matter what. I have heard Asus are a solid board.
Enough about my history now the judgment.

Asus - http://uk.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=731&l4=0&model=2321&modelmenu=1
Gigabyte - [url=MA790GP-DS4H]http://www.giga-byte.com/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=2887&ProductName=GA-MA790GP-DS4H[url]
MSI - http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1552#

I would appriciate any input good or bad about any boards, even alternatives.

As all the boards are identical, i had chossen MSI board.

Mainly due to the compatibility of hardware tests and the fact the cpu is supported from 1.0 version of bios where the others required updating.
Gigabyte bios is hard to upgrade, especially the current one i have as it keeps on overwriting the update with a backup of the old bios as it thinks its corrupted. And sayng that, I have never had asus board so i'am unaware of the complications.

I deviated from my aim just a little, got 2 hdd and 1kw psu.
All in all, a new high end PC is only 1/2 months wages. so if i dont like the MSI ill look into the others.
