Hi

I wanna OC my Q8200, but not to 3.0GHz or something, just oc from 2.33 to 2.6. I have a P45 chipset and i heard that oc'ing CPU's with low multi ( Like the Q8200 ), won't be a problem. I WILL use stock heatsink and fan.

So... will this oc'ing will represent problem because of stock fan and heatsink or i can oc the Q8200 to higher frecuencies?

I'm a total newbie in the world of OC'ing so this might sound stupid to the most of you.

Thanks

You will also need better cooling unless you limit yourself to what the chip will do without increasing the voltage.

And my usual caveat: Keep in mind that these are guides, not cookbooks. Your results will almost certainly vary from everyone else's.

And one more question:

If my DRAM:FSB ratio is 1:1, and my FSB is 333MHz (1333MHz effective), would my RAM run at 333MHz ( 667 effective) or 400MHz (default) ?
