Sportin the domino alc now and I have this stock core i7 cooler. what to do with it, what to do.....

blow it up
give a nice bath, in tub of acid
stick it on amd processor and laugh
recycle

Splice in a 9V battery, install in a baseball cap, and sell as a high-tech solution to watching baseball in August.

At least on my MSI X58M board the Northbridge could sure use the extra cooling capacity!

I added a small fan to cool it and it seems happy now.
