urghhhhhhhhhhh!! i have been searching and searching the web to see if my mobo supports a phenom 9750 quadcore but some sources say yes, and others say no.... im soo confused and scared to buy one becuase i dont want to be wrong. my motherboard is: Biostar A770 A2+
could someone direct me to a source that could tell me the TRUTH please?
I am currently running a AMD 125W 9750 Quad Core Processor on this puke green motherboard without any problems. In fact I am about to attempt to install a Phenom 3.0 Quad Core on this motherboard as soon as I find a compatible bios update. So do not worry. I am using the A78XA612.BST Bios from the biostar website to run the 9750.

i currently also have the puke green biostar a770 a2+, i am running a 5050e but want to upgrade to an energy efficient quad core like the
x4 905e = am3
or the
x4 9350e = am2
this motherboard supports ddr2 1066, so with low latency timings, and im going to wait to snipe a gx 295 and it hink it will be a formidable gaming rig to achieve the 4 cpu 2 gpu dream atm.
i just wonder if the am3 version with the higher clocks and whatnot will work, it definitly meets the voltage requirements, this motherboard for the money is th ebest thing going, the next best motherboard for the money is the am3 version of this board.
does it have the potential to run am3's with a bios update? atleast im hoping, ... .
