Hello! I want to upgrade my current desktop setup. Primarily the mb, cpu, and I guess the RAM. My current setup is:

Athlon XP 2800+
2GB Corsair Ram
Maxtor 300GB x2
HIS Radeon X1950 Pro IceQ 3(AGP)
Antec NSK4400 case
PCChips M848A mb
Corsair TX650W PSU
Vista Ultimate 32-bit

I want to upgrade the mb, etc., but can I get a "new" mb that supports the latest processors and still be able to use my IDE (ATA?) drives and my AGP card? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Recommendations on mb/cpu combos welcome. Thanks...

P.S. I don't need top of the line components, but at least "above average"...

agp has been dropped from recent mobos. It was still there in the beginning when core 2 duo was introduced, but dropped eventually. You can still use the ide drives and psu, os as well as case if you wish.
