Need Help

I am helping a friend fix his PC, because his MOBO crashed out on him.

We have received the new motherboard I hooked back up everything, but now when I turn on the PC there is a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.................................... nonstop. Funny thing is it is not the POST beep. I hear that then this long beep starts and never stops. If post displays hardware info then comes up with invalid harddrive or something like that. We dont have an OS on it yet so that error about the hard drive is no problem. I just dont understand this Beep that doesnt stop.

beep is a ram stick popping out i think

its Continuous and never stops. Just one long beep until I turn it off

my computer did the same and it was because somehow the ram had popped out of its slot

A long beep like that might have to do with the cables not connect to your video card. Make sure they are pushed in all the way. It would make things easier if you tolds us the complete specs of this rig.

Sorry I have been gone most the weekend Complete specs are as follows:

Asus Striker Extreme
QX6600
2 XFX 8800GTX
2 Raptors
1 500GB storage drive
2gb corsair ram (friend forgot to send it all)
MAC air cooler.
